| The International Mangrove Conservation Day was celebrated on 26th July, 2019 at Flood Shelter of Debichak village in Ramganga G.P. of South 24 Parganas area in West Bengal. There were 422 participants including delegates and beneficiaries of Ramganga G.P. At first, beneficiaries joined in two different ralliesand delivered slogans on mangrove plantation and conservation to generate awareness among the local people. | |||

| Thereafter, they entered into the celebration hall. The programme was continued for 2 and half hours. There were M.L.A, Fishery Extension Officer, Ranger Officer, Pradhan &Upo-pradhan of Ramganga G.P. etc. among the delegates. All the project personnel and other participants took active role in the programme and made the programme successful. The beneficiaries were so motivated that they participated in mangrove seedling plantation voluntarily on the day after celebration. | |||
