| Farmers can prepare the pit for plantation at homested land/road side and fallows and pit should be filled with pond slime, compost and neem cake etc.
Farmers are requested to make plan of alternetive crops of Baid Land instead of Paddy. Farmers can cultivate Arahar, Bhutta, ground nut, peas etc. at Baid Land with raise baid & row intercorpping. Farmers can cultivate fodder crop like: cluster bean (Goyar), Napier grass, Rice bean (Gaimung), Cow pea (Mug barbati), Teosinte etc. at the bank of pond or fallow land. Vegetables like Brinjal: At the time of fruiting fruiting stage phomopsis problem may occure. Collect affected plants parts and destroy it in the soil after digging 2 ft deep and take 1liter cow urine and mix in 4 liter of water and spary on the crops in clear weather Holy Basil / Malinbaha can be transplanted inside the Brinjal plots as pest repellent and protect the crops. Vegetable like lady's finger and Pumpkin: at the stage of flowering and fruting, rotting at base of the flower may be problem Take 1liter cow urine and mix in 6 liter of water and spary on the crops in clear weather Farmers are advice to prepare 'Organic Juice' with 100 lt. fresh water, 5 kg fresh cow dung, 5 lt. fresh cow urine, 500 gm lime (Chun), 500 gm flour (Ata) and 500 gm waste molasses (Chite Gur) mix all the component with water in a plastic container for 10 days. The mixture will be roll up clock wise and anti clock wise two times in a day. After preparation of 'Organic Juice' farmers can be use it with 1:1 ratio (Water & organic juice) to any plants in clear weather in a week. |
