Subject Areas: Emphasis is laid on collection of information in the field of Sustainable Agriculture, Environment, Health (herbal medicine & primary health care), Education (especially non-formal), and other related areas in respect of rural development.

Training

 Books: Around 10000 including reports, manuals, dictionaries and directories.
 Journals/Newsletters : about 150 Nos
 Newspaper clippings: News clippings on selected topics are being preserved from 10 daily newspapers and other district newspapers.
 Occasional Papers: Papers presented in seminars, workshops, conferences etc.
 Website information: Downloaded sites categorised on the basis of subjects of our concern.
 Publication: Bi-monthly "Library News" containing new accessions in the library.

 Free Reading Room is open between 11 AM and 5 PM on all working days
 Photocopying: Readers can get photocopies of documents on payment of actual cost
 Circulation of Library News to interested organisation & persons.
 News updates, reports, articles etc. on multi-topics are being sent to readers-group time to time through internet
